How to apply for CSVTU Degree/Provisional/Migration Certificate Online

If you have completed your degree from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU,Bhilai), you can apply for the migration or provisional degree according to the below steps by online payment. Note that you can now apply for Final degree as soon as you pass/clear got your final semester.

The Graduate and diploma students who pass/clear the final examination can apply for their Degree/Diploma Certificates immediately after the declaration of the main results. They should apply in the prescribed format along with the requisite fee and all the relevant documents.

The Students who has completed their Degree & Diploma courses on or before academic session 2014-2015 but not applied for their certificates till date should submit their applications along with all required documents on or before 31st July 2016.

UPDATE (27-06-2016): You can still apply for your CSVTU degree. There is no last or deadline date to apply as per the latest update received from University Website.

You should not have pending backlogs and have not applied for Revaluation/Re-totaling. Below is the procedure to apply for the Degree/Provisional/Migration Certificate from the University.

Online payment option available only for Exam fees, Migration Fees, Enrollment Fees, PhD Fees, Sports Fees, Retotalling / Revaluation Fees, etc. as of now. There is no online payment available for Degree/ Diploma Certificate.

Prescribed fee for Degree should be sent by Bank Draft drawn in favor of Registrar, Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai or can be deposited in cash in CSVTU office at the the time of document submission.

How to apply for Degree at CSVTU ?

• Download and fill the application (download from below)
• Get all your original mark-sheet photocopies (all semester till last semester) attested by your HOD or Principal (To verify with your original mark sheet)
• Attach the attested copies and the application form (also get your application form attested) and staple it.
• Submit it at the CSVTU counter with a fee of Rs.500/- and get the receipt.

Note: Timing 11:00 am – 2:00 pm (Mon-Fri) & till 1:00 pm on Saturdays.

Prescribed fee should be sent by Bank Draft drawn in favor of Registrar, Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai or can be deposited in cash in CSVTU office.

Your Degree will be sent to your Address by speed-post.

Other Important Instructions:

• Before applying for Degree/Diploma please check, whether all the details appearing in the mark sheet are correct. If any mistake is noticed in Name, Father’s name Mothers name, marks obtained, result declared etc, the same should be got corrected/amended by submitting an application to the University.
• Applicant should fill the form carefully and legibly all in capital letters. All names should be as written in the enrollment form.
• Certified photocopies of mark-sheets of all Examinations should be enclosed with the application form.
• Enclose affidavit and copy of police report (FIR), passport size Photograph and fee of Rs 500.00 for obtaining duplicate degree/diploma. Duplicate will be issued only after six months from the date of issue of the original.
• Degree/Diploma will be sent to the applicant by Speed Post at the address given in the application form.
• Prescribed fee should be sent by Bank Draft drawn in favor of Registrar, Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai or can be deposited in cash in CSVTU office.

How to apply for Provisional & Migration in CSVTU Online/Offline?

• Attach all photocopies of your mark sheet (no attestation needed) with an application to the Registrar CSVTU requesting a provisional mark sheet
• In the application mention that you have not applied for re-total/revaluation in any of the subject, if you have applied for re-totalling or revaluation you should apply after the declaration of the result and you should have no pending backlogs.
• Put your signature on right (self attest to verify that you agree with the above requirements) along with the date.
• Your Name, University Enrolment Number & Roll Number should be mentioned on left.
• For Migration you need to write a separate application requesting for Migration certificate along with all semesters photocopies and a Photocopy of Transfer Certificate (TC) issued from your College.
• You need to produce your slip to receive your Certificates after the process time given.
• Fee for Provisional is Rs.100/- & for Migration is Rs.300/- (Can be paid online from CSVTU website via SBI portal, receipt needed while submitting the documents)

Note: Timing 11:00 am – 2:00 pm (Mon-Fri) & till 1:00 pm on Saturdays
You need to produce your Fee receipt to get the certificates.
Normal processing time is 10 days for Provisional & 15 days for Migration certificate.
