Even though the App is registered under country USA, the invoice shows clearly the receiving account details which is a Shanghai IT Company in China.
The above Company 上海合合信息科技发展有限公司 translates to Shanghai Hehe Information Technology Development Limited Company, is a top Internet service provider in Shanghai, China. Which proves that CamScanner is basically a Chinese product but registered in California (USA).

Camscanner is a SCAM APP. I paid for 2 years service but still got watermarks and tons of ads. they strung me out and did not fix it. they refused to give a refund. I’m pretty sure their app is a security risk — they won’t turn the ads off so they can push code onto my phone. I checked IntSig out on the CA State of Atty’s office. They surrendered their registration in 2006 and have been operating illegally from a small office in Milpitas. It appears that only one person works there. I am filing a complaint with google play. to have camscanner removed. I suspect it is not legal to provide money services to a Chinese foeign corporation not registered to do business in the US. I have full documentation of all communications for anyone interested in see who these creeps really are. I spent 20 years in IT for a top 50 US Corporation.
Correction to the above: IntSig surrendered their corporate registration in 2016, not 2006.
I’ve been using CamScanner since 2015 or earlier. How do I download all my documents and remove all data from their servers?? And why didn’t GOOGLE vet the app and remove them from the Play Store when their registration was surrendered???? It let’s you know that they are ALL interested in making money, not protecting our privacy.
