How to enable VoLTE option missing under Enhanced Communications in OnePlus smartphones with Airtel SIM?

Airtel VoLTE services are now available almost across all over India and this services is supported by 250+ mobile handsets available in the market.

• OnePlus 6
• OnePlus 6T
• OnePlus 7 Pro
• OnePlus 7
• OnePlus 7T
• OnePlus 7T Pro

If you have already upgraded to latest OxygenOS and having a working Airtel 4G SIM, but still not getting the VoLTE options in settings, you can try the below steps below.

CASE 1 : Wrong SIM selected for Mobile data

Solution: Check whether the default SIM for Mobile data is set the SIM slot in which the Airtel SIM is placed (SIM 1 or SIM 2) and also make sure the network mode has been set as “4G/3G/2G (Auto)”

Case 2 : VoLTE option missing even the SIM made default for Mobile data

Solution: (Note please do it carefully, as this options are meant only for developers)

• Dial *#800#
• Click on Enter, go to OnePlus Log Kit and Scroll down without touching any other options and Click on ‘Function Switch‘ option.
• Now Select VoLTE Switch check box and reboot the device.

Now check whether the VoLTE option is available under Settings >> WiFi & Internet >> SIM & network settings

If you are still facing the issue, contact the customer care 198 and register a complain for you mobile number. Your issue should be fixed in 48 hours.
