After a long wait, OnePlus finally released the Android Oreo 8.0 update to OnePlus 5 smartphone in the latest OxygenOS 5.0.1 version update. This update has been rolled out gradually via OTA (on-the-air) update, and also available at the OnePlus official website.
The latest OS update of Android Oreo 8.0 is of 1587 MB in size.

Previously the Oreo update for OnePlus 5 has been cancelled in the OxygenOS 5.0.0 version due to some critical bugs found, which has been fixed in the OxygenOS 5.0.1.
